CPB Financial Stability Report 2014

Following recommendations by the De Wit Committee, the Dutch House of Representatives requested CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis and the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) to report, at least once a year, on international and national macroeconomic developments related to the financial sector.

In 2012, the first of these reports was presented to the House of Representatives.

Starting point for the current report were our findings on financial market developments as reported in the Central Economic Plan (CEP) 2014. The analysis has been limited to a description of the main risks to the Dutch economy.

Despite the substantial improvements in stabilising the eurozone, the basis of the increasing recovery remains fragile.
