World trade monitor: December 2010

World trade volume increased by 1.8% in December, following a rise of equal size in November. This is shown by the CPB world trade monitor. A Background document is attached.

December 2010: World trade up by 1.8 % month on month, similar to the rise in November.
December 2010: Until further notice, world trade growth came out at 2.6% in the fourth quarter.
December 2010: World industrial production up by 1.4% month on month.
