World trade monitor: October 2010

World trade volume increased by 0.5% in October, after a 0.4% decrease in September. This is shown by the CPB world trade monitor. A Background document is attached.

October 2010: world trade up by 0.5% month on month, after a 0.4% decrease in September.
Third quarter trade growth revised down to 0.3% quarter on quarter.
October 2010: world industrial production up by 0.6% month on month.
