Netherlands Economists Day 2013
On the 18th of October 2013 the CPB, ESB, DNB and the KVS organize the Netherlands Economists Day (N.E.D.) at the Dutch Central Bank. This day provides all Dutch economists - those who live and work in The Netherlands - with the opportunity to discuss relevant economic issues. There will also be possibilities to present recent work.
All economists are welcome, both researchers and practitioners. The day will be concluded by the KVS Tinbergen-lecture that is given this year by Prof. Dr. Robert J. Shiller (Yale University), e.g. author of "Finance and the Good Society".
Unfortunately interest in the Tinbergen Lecture by professor Shiller exceeds the capacity of the auditorium at DNB. Registration for the Nederlandse Economendag remains open. New registrations will be able to follow the lecture from another room via videoconference.
Important dates:
- 11 October 2013: deadline registration N.E.D.
- 18 October 2013: Netherlands Economists Day followed by KVS Tinbergen-lecture
Note to non-Dutch economists: although most sessions will be in Dutch, there will be enough English-language sessions available throughout the day.
To submit a paper or to register as a participant, please complete the form below (attachment) and email it to NED@cpb.nl.
Your registration will only be completed once the registration fee of €25 has been received. We kindly request you to transfer the above mentioned amount to the bank account of KVS, clearly mentioning the participant’s name. The account number is 369444.
For more information you can contact the organisation (NED@cpb.nl).
