Antonia Kurz will present a recent study that sheds new light on carbon leakage (published in JEEM: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jeem.2024.102933 ). Kurz shows how the exemption of small-scale emitting firms from carbon pricing can result in a leakage of carbon emissions within countries.
