CPB Open Day
Contributing to better policies for everyone in the Netherlands. Conducting scientific research that enables politicians and policymakers to take well-considered decisions. Come to our Open Day in The Hague on Wednesday, 7 December 2022 for information on internships, jobs and/or PhD research.
How much are the climate measures costing and how can the climate targets be achieved? What does the new government policy mean for purchasing power? What does the high inflation rate mean for households and how is it impacting the economy? What is the expected trend in poverty, for Dutch people as a whole and specifically for children?
These are just a few of the questions/issues addressed by the scientific researchers at CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis.
The Open Day is an opportunity to get to know the work of CPB and our economists and econometricians.

1:00pm – 1:05 pm: Welcome by Jeroen Hinloopen, CPB Deputy Director
1:05pm – 1:45 pm: Presentation on working at CPB
1:45pm – 2:30 pm: Tour of the building by JongCPB
2:30pm – 2:45 pm: Short break
2:45pm – 5.00pm: An interactive case study
5:00pm – 6:30 pm: Time for drinks!
Registration
The registration is closed and not possible anymore.
Non-Dutch-speaking participants are welcome. Our working language is Dutch. The first part of the Open Day will take place in Dutch. Non-Dutch speakers will be given a translation and can ask questions in English. The second part (the case study) will take place in English.
