On June 29th, the newest OECD country report on the Netherlands will be presented. This two-yearly report (for the last version see link) presents a snapshot of the Dutch economy and identifies some issues for which key recommendations are formulated. The so-called thematic chapter this year focuses on tight labor markets and proposes a number of policy recommendations, mainly focused on boosting labor supply. During this seminar, a member of the OECD Country Desk will introduce this chapter, and Egbert Jongen (CPB) will reflect on this.
